Show Low
Show Low was established in 1870 and incorporated in 1953. Located at the southern edge of Navajo County Show Low sits at an elevation of 6,412 feet, the city is 175 miles northeast of Phoenix and 195 miles north of Tucson. The high elevation and close proximity to large metropolitan areas is a combination that makes Show Low perfect for summer homes. It comes as no surprise every summer that the weather gets nice, the population seems to double overnight and finding a parking space becomes more difficult. The challenge for our summer residents comes during the fall when it is time for them to pack up and winterize their home in preparation to head down south for the winter. Something that is constant summer and winter is insurance claims! Roofing failures, pipe bursts, mechanical failure, and accidental overflow of a toilet or bath all lead to an overwhelmed policy holder who does not know where to begin cleaning up the mess. The key to this predicament is preparation. Step one: know how to shut off the water to your home so you can do this quickly in an emergency. Step two: due to the risk of electrical hazards, keep everyone away from the affected area and if possible shut off electricity from an outside source. Step three: call me. I will respond in a timely manner and help evaluate the damage that has occurred. We will work together to determine if it is worth filing an insurance claim. Rest assured that I can help save your hard earned money regardless of your decision whether or not to file a claim.
